Hello Dear Reader,
Let me fill you in on what I’ve been up to.
At the beginning of February I was in Madrid to record a course for Domestika. I’m not much of a traveler so this was very exiting for me. I pushed myself to do this challenging thing and am glad I did!
Speaking in front of cameras doesn’t scare me much anymore, I was well prepared and knew what I was talking about but flying and being in a unknown town did scare me. ^^’
There is no release date yet but I will send out a newsletter when I know more!
I've also kept up doing “Daily Studies” They really help me with understanding color and light more. Honestly I still have a long way ahead of me but that itself fills me with joy. I would like to explore reduced color pallets and do more of these traditionally but currently it is easier to incorporate them in my day if I can sit on the sofa while doing them.
you can find the Studies 1- 69 here:
On my Patreon I have been exploring the topic of misty scenarios this month and am quite proud of the results, but also feel like this could be something I would like to delve into even further.
Particularly painting mist traditionally proved to be quite challenging.
I hope you enjoyed this insight into my work.
Love,
Schmoe <3
Love seeing and hearing about your work in progress Simone, thanks for sharing!
