I enjoy watching older films, animated series, and sketch comedies while in the inking and coloring stages of drawing. However, since penciling is still part of the conception stage, I usually just put on a video essay or podcast so my attention isn't diverted too much.

Psych and Bridezillas were always my favorite shows to draw along to. Law & Order works great for me too! Watching something in the background can help me stay more focused and give me energy too.

I find colouring my comics tedious. So I lineup all the gardening shows I can’t watch with my other half and binge them on YouTube. It makes colouring in a delight.

The 'watch something enjoyable' is such an excellent life hack, I don't know why I haven't thought of this before. xD My friend always puts something fun on when she needs to get her knitting projects done. Thanks as always for your cheery insights, Schmoe!

When I want to draw but it's hard I tend towards playing a YouTube video to draw along with. Usually with chill music and minimal talking. Meeco, Sibyllline, and Heikala are some of my go to accounts.
